Dreaming of spring

February is the shortest month, but this February has been really really long and really really cold. Granted the snow is pretty, sparkling and bright and the lack of any thaw throughout the month has ensured we have enjoyed the white covering for 25 days straight...but I am now dreaming of spring.

I want...

to go outside in my shirtsleeves

to walk barefoot in the grass

to chase the kids in my moccasins

to see the baby animals at the farm

more hours of sunshine

warm winds blowing

tulips

to eat outside

to put the car windows down

In short, I want spring.
