Rose Gardens
Roses are my favourite flower. They are beautiful and I love how they smell.
When I was in California years ago, I visited Monty Roberts' ranch "Flag is Up Farms". As you entered there were roses everywhere. The roses enhanced the beauty of the natural landscape. When you coupled that setting with horses running around the ranch, it was one of the most pleasing places I've ever been.
We are planting a rose garden. Hopefully by the fall we'll have a few roses blooming outside, making our home more inviting. Now if only I could figure out how to accommodate some horses...
