Summer Bike Rides
Each summer evening my children petition to go to the park.
The past few nights they have taken their bikes. Papa got all the tires blown up, the gears greased, the kick stands oiled, and they are working beautifully. Summer is such a nice time of year for scooters, bikes, wagons, walks and time at the park.
I played tag with my kids three nights ago only to be faced with the reality that I can no longer catch any of the three older ones. Two nights ago we all raced and I came fourth of four. Last night daddy and I just watched the children play.
Midway through july I am savouring every summer evening.
