Fitting Finale

The CNE represents the official end of summer vacation. Canada’s largest fair, it is in its 137th year and attracts 1.5 million visitors a year. It runs for 18 days.
Last night it was shut down early because of large crowds of teenagers running, scuffling, fighting and acting boisterously, causing the organizers to feel a shut down was needed to maintain order.
We plan to go on Labour Day Monday, first thing in the morning, as a last hurrah prior to the children starting school the next day. Hopefully it will be a fitting finale to a fantastic summer.
