Things I thought were safe are not.

My toddler will pull whatever size chair wherever is required to climb up and take what she wants. She is immensely determined and remarkably strong. Things I thought were inviolate, like my jewelry box on top of a high dresser, is now completely within her range. Chocolate on top of the fridge is now part of her regular climbing routine. She sees it; she wants it; she goes and gets it, heights and tippy chairs no obstacles.

Undoubtedly that determination will hold her in good stead as she grows older. Right now, though, it is making it difficult to keep anything away from her.
