Jordan Spieth is having a good year.
Having won the Masters by leading from beginning to end, he moved on to the U.S. Open where he won it on the last hole by playing clutch golf. He is a mere 21 years old yet is one of only six golfers to win the Masters and U.S. Open back to back, joining the ranks of Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Craig Wood.
Born and raised in Texas, he comes from an athletic family. His brother plays basketball for Brown University and his parents are athletic. His only other sibling is a sister with special needs so he has started a charity to raise money for special needs kids. He credits her with keeping him grounded in the midst of all the hype surrounding his stellar golf career thus far.
Given his age and his skill, he is just getting started. Hopefully he'll have a long run.
