Canada's Women's Basketball Team won gold last night at the PanAm Games.

Kia Nurse scored 33 points as our gals defeated the United States 81-73. Athleticism runs in her family as her brother is hockey player Darnell Nurse of the Edmonton Oilers. This was Canada's first ever basketball gold medal at the PanAm Games, and maintained our incredible streak of winning at least one gold medal every day of the games thus far.

In keeping with the spirit of women's basketball victories, my women's basketball team won last night too, 34 to 31. Way to go gals!!
