Toronto Olympics
The Pan Am Games were by all accounts a success and Torontonians are now shifting their gaze to a bigger prize.
Rome, Paris and Hamburg...but not Boston...are competing for the 2024 Olympics. Toronto is thinking of throwing its hat in the ring. Given how well the Pan Am Games went, Toronto feels Olympic ready. The Olympics are far more expensive to host and far more complicated, but if we had nine years to prepare, we could probably pull it off with style.
