Fawn Lake Cottage
We are enjoying the long weekend on Fawn Lake, the same lake where Rob Ford has a cottage.
The lake is fairly small, warmer than expected but still very refreshing. We took out a paddle boat, a canoe, a kayak, and a row boat into the lake. The three older kids bravely jumped off the row boat into the middle of the lake. The baby swam with me in the lake for a long time, smiling while drinking the lake water and insisting on jumping off any dock we came upon.
I am in full summer cottage glow, sun drenched, lake water drowsy, slow moving and a little dopey mid afternoon. I am enjoying every minute of the glow.
