A Library Card
My children became members of the Toronto Public Library today.
My first job, at age 13, was working in the London Public Library. I loved it. Every day I worked I would come home with stacks of books. As a kid my husband would play hooky from school, hanging out at the public library, devouring biographies and books about sports. My children have joined the same club today and came home with all sorts of books to read about The Beatles and Jaguars and Baseball.
It is a great club.
