A Walk in the Woods
Hiking in pristine Muskoka forest made for a fabulous walk in the woods.
Bear droppings and the absence of any apples on the trees up to deer level were two indications we were not alone, but no other living creature showed itself other than a few chipmunks. There were four huge 100 year old trees with intertwining limbs and small purple mushrooms at their base.
It was extremely good for the soul and I am already craving another walk having spent the day in the city.
