My children love The Beatles.
Formed in Liverpool in 1960, they enjoyed their first hit, Love Me Do, in late 1962. They went on to become international superstars in the years through to 1970, with their generation identifying with them viscerally and completely. They are the best selling band in history.
45 years after their break up, their music continues to resonate with a young vibrant audience. Beatlemania never died.
