Phenomenal Photos
This photo of a polar bear frolicking in lavender fireweed won mention as one of the top 50 photos of 2015.
Taken by Dennis Fast, a retired Manitoba school principal, he counsels that despite his name he is not particularly fast. Hence he uses an electric fence, a starter pistol and brings a gun just in case when he is photographing dangerous animals. Thus far he has never had to shoot one of his subjects.
