Bad Things, Good People
You have to wonder, as you look at our world, why there is so much tragedy and suffering. Why do bad things happen to good people? What is there so much evil in the world?
I believe that misfortune and difficulties can either destroy a person or make them stronger. What I don't understand is why life has to contain tragedy and difficulties. Yet almost everyone I know has encountered something that either broke them or made them more capable. And some people have been hit with multiple tragedies.
In contrast, the ones who have not known troubles are the most arrogant and insufferable, judgmental and obnoxious. They are the people who have little empathy and tend to be completely self absorbed.
What I do know is that it would be a far sunnier world if life were good, joyful and beautiful all the time. I guess we can all do our part to create such a world.
