Fawning Around
Deer are a common sight in Muskoka but for my three year old city girl, this fawn in the woods was quite magical. She stared at us as we crept towards her, munching away on her leaves, and only skittered away when we were about five feet away. She was beautiful and graceful and took me back to Storybook Gardens in London where as a three year old I saw deer for the first time.
It is a joy to share common experiences with my littlest this summer...and 43 years after my first sighting it is still a thrill.
