Heavenly Haliburton

There are moments in life when you have to slow down and marvel at the natural beauty all around you. Watching the sun set on Boshkung Lake in Haliburton County was one of those moments. The vast sky with its cover of clouds captured this myriad kaleidoscope of purples and pinks and yellows as the sun refracted out on the water.

The Township of Algonquin Highlands is the sort of place where time goes a little less rapidly. As I watch my four children grow up, I often want to stop time. This image that the five of us captured takes me back to that wonderful evening and causes me to breathe a little deeper while I remember the beauty of the night.
