Cats and Backhoes
When I was younger I loved spending time at my grandparents’ apple orchard riding on ATVs and checking out the tractors. I wasn’t exposed to those machines anywhere else and it was fun and fascinating. This summer my children took a ride in a backhoe, their first such experience. They thought it was immensely cool. Their next request is to learn to drive one.
Arnie’s Cat House on Highway 11 doesn’t sell what you might initially think (or at least where my mind went). Arnie has a lot of machines like the above in the yard waiting for people to purchase or rent them. Perhaps my children will be customers when they get older and they want to build a road or move some dirt around. Certainly their first ride was most enjoyable.
