Birth Order be gone
Birth order dictates some of our behaviour.
My 7 year old daughter is the middle child. She is always trying to keep up with her 10 year old brothers while also being a caring older sister to the baby. She generally accomplishes both objectives.
Yesterday she had the rare opportunity to do something before her brothers and better than her brothers. She asked to try wakeboarding after our friend Amy showed her how. I was concerned she would land head first in the lake and hate the experience. Instead, she rocked at it and she inspired the boys to then try it in quick succession.
She was happy to be the pioneer for a change.
