The Big Dipper
On Monday night I had the pleasure of a walk to the grocery store on a clear starry night before the kids came home from hockey.
The stars above always make me feel awe and wonder. They also make me realize how vast the universe is above us and all around us. Looking up in the sky is a humbling, grounding experience.
I have started to read a blog by Adventure Journal to help me start to recognize the constellations. The first project is to be able to recognize the big dipper, shown exaggerated above. That is where I start.
