Wallpaper Wizardry

My mom and her younger sister have a lot of fun together. And both love to improve spaces in the home.

It was thus completely natural that Deb brought her Plaster of Paris on the train with her when she came to visit...and her work clothes...and her sense of humour. The two of them decided to transform a kitchen space that was nice but not particularly interesting.

Deb loves to wallpaper. Mom chose a geometric pattern that enlivened the space, brought all the colours into play, and pulled the kitchen together. The two of them took about six hours to transform the suite. Mom assisted while Deb sweated, measured, removed air pockets, and tried to make straight a wall that was 1/16" out of alignment.

The results speak for themselves. So do the weary smiles of the makeover artists.
