Damp and Cold
In Canada we so look forward to spring. Then it comes and we become cold and damp every time it rains. Yet it feels better than the harsh, bone chilling winter...anything would.
My boys and my baby accompanied me to the grocery store early this morning. My eldest daughter - probably the smartest - took advantage of the fact it was the weekend and slept in. We walked in the rain; bought milk, fruit and eggs; and walked back home. We were damp and cold by the time we arrived home. I have been cold in my bones ever since. The boys, instead embraced the cold and went for a 90 minute skate. I am hoping the sun breaks through for a few hours this weekend so I can warm up, at least until it rains again.
